Wardrobes in Oak + Rattan
Designed for a Victorian house in St Andrew’s Bristol, this matching pair of wardrobes met the clients’ brief to augment the calm, sophisticated styling of their spare room, whilst maximising storage. This was achieved by including a large top shelf for bags and camping equipment, ample hanging space, and drawers at the bottom for bed sheets and towels. The rounded face frame and inset scribes create soft shadows and are designed to give the wardrobes a freestanding aesthetic.

The wardrobes feature a solid European oak frame, with woven rattan fronts and oak veneered internals. The drawers are constructed from birch plywood, with oak veneered birch plywood fronts, set on Blum soft close runners.
The interiors are finished with hard wearing Bona lacquer whilst the Solid Oak exterior is finished in Osmo Polyx Oil with a white tint

The doors are hung on traditional butt hinges. The drawer fronts are grain matched across the face.
Automatic LED lighting illuminates the wardrobes upon opening.
